Single Portfolio

FASTA sequences of various strains of microorganisms were subjected to BRIG analysis. BRIG was carried out to check the similarity between different strains. The result obtained was presented as follows.

BRIG (BLAST Ring Image Generator) is a BLAST tool which gives the result in a ring form. The reference sequence is the innermost ring, followed by GC content and GC skew rings and then the query rings. GC Content ring is in green, while the GC skew ring is in purple color. Protein or genes to be compared between two microorganisms can also be visualized on the query ring by providing a tab-delimited file compromising all the data. Apart from the mentioned results, other supplementary work was also done.
